Before founding V Populi, I built my career with some of the world’s most respected organisations, including Thomson Reuters, the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Refinitiv, S&P Global and Bloomberg.
Working inside these complex, international businesses gave me first-hand experience of how global employers approach benefits, wellbeing and culture. It also deepened my understanding of the challenges leaders face in creating workplaces where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive.
Through many conversations with leaders and benefits specialists, I began to notice that benchmarking data often encouraged organisations to compare themselves with peers rather than uncover what their own people really valued. The workplaces that consistently achieved the highest engagement were not those with the most elaborate benefits packages but those where employees genuinely felt heard.
That insight led me to start V Populi, derived from vox populi, meaning “voice of the people”. We enrich benchmarking by combining external insights with honest internal listening. By understanding what employees truly need and aligning it with business goals, we help leaders cut through assumptions and build cultures where both organisations and individuals can flourish.
